This is not from the rat room described in this gallery, but more of a "warning" photo. The red arrow shows a cardboard wall at one end of the "old lady play room". I found my rat, Chancy, when she was younger, walking along the top edge of a similar cardboard wall set up at the time. The warning here is that even if you think you have plenty of fun distractions, rats try to reach every square inch and edge and line of their world. It's in their nature to do so. Please don't trust that you have set up a "safe play world" because you have likely underestimated the troublemaker nature of rats. Please supervise your rats and keep them safe.
