Lila ("Lie-lah") is just shy of 3 years of age at this filming in late March 2010. Her favorite greeting is a few face sniffs followed by one calculated, careful, long lick straight up one of my nostrils, after which she briefly observes my reaction quite seriously. She has not explained the meaning of her greeting, but I'm nonetheless appreciative. She's a beige velveteen sweetheart.

A brief explanation of the spoon and pot top: When Lila was a baby she was terrified of any and all noises, which drove me to find a method to systematically desensitize her to them. These snapshots are pulled from a video that I'm currently editing describing that method. She's the star, of course. :)
