As of mid-May, 2011, Chancy ("Chance-ee") is 4 years and 1 month old. She lost her cagemates in December 2010, and I was able to introduce her to the new 3 young boys. She presently shares her personal cage, which is set up to help elderly rats, with one of the boys, Toby Toe-Toe, who is the smallest rat and who was bullied by Tugger. Allowing him some peace and quiet with Chancy is helping him. She's less interested in him, but I think I see a gleam in her eyes occasionally. I sometimes give Chancy a break and a "day off" from Toby. All 3 boys are respectful and often give Chancy close attention with grooming. I love seeing bliss in her eyes.
